John Stamos celebrated his co-star Lori Loughlin, as she turned 60 earlier this week. Stamos uploaded a throwback clip featuring him and the birthday girl on the set of Full House, and fans grew as nostalgic as they were delighted to wish Lori a happy birthday.
The hilarious snippet off the sitcom saw John Stamos’ Jesse Katsopolis getting a light body massage from a monkey while his wife, Rebecca, played by Loni, looked on. “Happy 60th Birthday, Lori! Wow, where do I even begin?” Stamos’ caption began.

Stamos gushed about his castmate as she turned 60, calling her a constant source of joy and inspiration to him. “Your kindness, strength, and genuine spirit shine brighter than ever as you hit this incredible milestone. Here’s to celebrating you today and every day— love you,” he added.

His comments section was filled with Full House fans who had a dose of nostalgia from the clip and those who simply sent Lori their best wishes. “Always loved this episode! Happy Birthday Lori!” someone simply said. “This is one of THE greatest scenes from this show! The amount of times I’ve watched it and will still die laughing every time! Happy Birthday Lori!!!” another gushed.
A wonderful platonic duo
Stamos and Lori formed a friendship that grew beyond the set of Full House, and they have remained buddies to this day. The duo almost became a real-life couple if not for another woman in the picture named Rebecca Romijn, who Stamos married in 1998.
Stamos came to regret his decision after a messy divorce from Rebecca in 2004, while Lori married designer Mossimo Giannulli. Lori once admitted that people expected her and Stamos to get married, and she hardly posts her husband because of silly comments questioning why they never got together.
